Craig Gentilin
Craig Gentilin is the Senior Partner and Construction Manager for Royal Indigo Construction, LLC. Craig has over thirty years of high-end custom home building experience in Connecticut, Charleston and Kiawah Island, and has been a licensed General Contractor since 1997. Over the last three decades Craig has worked exclusively on Kiawah Island on many notable projects including the Kiawah Island Beach Club, the Vanderhorst Mansion restoration, the 2013 HGTV Dream Home, and many award winning custom homes. As a master carpenter by trade, Craig has hands on experience in every phase of construction and combines old world craftsmanship with the latest materials and building science to produce one of a kind homes that stand the test of time. Since 1997, Craig has lived on James Island in a home that he designed and built with his wife Stephanie and their two children, Max and Maya.
Ben Daley
Ben Daley is a partner of Royal Indigo Construction, LLC. Ben coordinates project development for the company while managing construction and communications for multiple large-scale new construction and renovation projects on Kiawah Island. He has been a part of the Royal Indigo team since 2007.
A graduate of The College of Charleston, Ben has managed the construction and remodeling of homes on Kiawah and Charleston’s Historic District. He managed the construction of the first home on Kiawah to receive a LEED accolade and has been involved with many other LEED certified homes since.
Ben continues to serve as board member of Dyal Compass. He has also served as the builder liaison for Charleston Catholic School’s recent renovation. After building the dream home with HGTV, he has consulted on and contributed to their Dream home and Smart Home productions around the country. Ben has called the Low Country his home since 1994 where he enjoys the warm climate and culture with his wife Leigh and his son, Joseph.
Mike Mauney
Mike Mauney has worked in Kiawah’s construction market since 2004. He brings practical hands on knowledge to each of his projects as well as a focus on quality construction detail. He has a passion for architecture and the geometry involved in solving the intricate details of Kiawah’s custom homes.
Mike is originally form Stanley, North Carolina and has lived in Charleston since 2003. In Charleston Mike met his wife Toni, who works in cancer research at the Medical University of South Carolina. In his free time Mike enjoys the outdoors of the Lowcountry and sharing it with his two sons Miles and Maddox.
