Craig Gentilin is the Senior Partner and Construction Manager for Royal Indigo Construction, LLC. Craig has over thirty years of high end custom home building experience in Connecticut, Charleston and Kiawah Island, and has been a licensed General Contractor for 20 years. Over the last twenty-three years Craig has worked exclusively on Kiawah Island on many notable projects including the Kiawah Island Beach Club, the Vanderhorst Mansion restoration, the 2013 HGTV Dream Home, and many award winning custom homes. As a master carpenter by trade, Craig has hands on experience in every phase of construction and combines old world craftsmanship with the latest materials and building science to produce homes that stand the test of time. For the last 20 years, Craig has lived on James Island in a home that he designed and built with his wife Stephanie and their two children, Max and Maya
Ben Daley is a partner of Royal Indigo Construction, LLC. Ben coordinates project development for the company while managing construction and communications for multiple large-scale new construction and renovation projects on Kiawah Island. He has been a part of the Royal Indigo team for ten years.
A graduate of The College of Charleston, Ben has managed the construction and remodeling of homes on both Kiawah and in Charleston’s Historic District for the last 14 years. He managed the construction of the first home on Kiawah to receive a LEED accolade.
With a focus on sustainable building, Ben has been a member of the Indigo Park development team since the community’s inception. Within that development, there have been six homes built to the LEED standard of gold and platinum; with ten additional homes slated for completion in the next three years.
Ben continues to serve as board member of Dyal Compass. He has also served as builder liaison for Charleston Catholic School’s renovation in 2014 and contributed to HGTV’s Dream home and Smart Home productions. Ben has called the Low Country his home for the last 22 years where he enjoys the warm climate and culture with his wife Leigh and his son, Joseph.
Is the founder of Royal Indigo Construction, LLC, a Kiawah Island, S.C.-based residential construction company. He manages the financial and business operations and serves as the company advisor. Bob is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a degree in finance, an Air Force veteran and a retired U.S. Treasury Agent. Bob has resided on Kiawah Island with his wife, Vicky, since 1997.
Mike Mauney has worked in Kiawah’s construction market for the
past 10 years. He brings practical hands on knowledge to each of his
projects as well as a focus on quality construction detail. He has a
passion for architecture and the geometry involved in solving the
intricate details of Kiawah’s custom homes.
Mike is originally form Stanley, North Carolina and has lived in
Charleston for the last 14 years. In Charleston, Mike met his wife Toni
who works in cancer research at the Medical University of South
Carolina. In his free time Mike enjoys the outdoors of the Lowcountry
surfing, fishing and playing soccer.
Thomas is a native of Southeast Georgia who discovered the Lowcountry attending the College of Charleston and graduating in 2002 with a Bachelor’s degree in Historic Preservation and Community Planning. In 2005 Thomas found his calling in the field amongst the high pace production environment with residential construction, having experience in managing multi-family and single family home projects throughout the Tri-county area. Thomas enjoys golfing, surfing and spending time at the beach with his wife Ruth and two kids Evans and Tee. Thomas joined the RIC team in the Spring of 2015 as a project manager for new construction and renovations.
